Lower carbohydrate side dishes

Enjoy the taste of very familiar foods with a lower carbohydrate count.  A perfect example is mashed potatoes with a substitution of cauliflower along with the usual butter, milk, S & P & a bit of olive oil.  Sub around 25% of the cauliflower for the potatoes and you’ll save 20% of the carbs & calories.  Don’t overdue the butter & add some olive oil to keep the fat content a bit more reduced.
